You may answer quickly when someone asks what you do: you lead, care, organise, support and solve problems. The question “What do you want for yourself?” may take a little longer. The roles you carry matter, but behind them is a person with preferences, wishes and a rhythm of their own. Perhaps you need some time to hear yourself again.

When you find yourself at the bottom of the list

Perhaps a day only feels successful if you have taken care of everything for everyone else. Only in the evening do you notice that you have not asked yourself how you are. You do not need to give up the people you love or your responsibilities to make room for yourself. You can begin by recognising what you would have liked that day to hold for you, too.

Perhaps it was an hour of quiet, a walk or the chance to say you were tired. Those words do not diminish the care you offer. They make room in the relationship for the person who does the caring.

What you can bring to an individual session

You might tell me about a situation in which you said yes, even though something in you wanted something else. What were you trying to preserve: peace, closeness, the impression that you could manage? We can explore those answers gently, without rushing to the conclusion that you should have acted differently.

Sometimes it helps to separate a few voices: “I want”, “I think others expect” and “This is possible for me now”. The differences between them can open a conversation about what you truly choose and where you need another way.

A small step back into your own life

You may discover that an expectation was never spoken, even though you have spent a long time trying to meet it. Or that a wish is still alive, but you imagined it in a form too big for this stage of your life. We can look for a step within reach: a conversation, a preference expressed, some time kept for yourself.

In Divine personalised guidance, we shape the focus and the way we work together. You do not need to know in advance how you will change things. You can begin by saying where you feel you have faded a little from your own choices. From there, the question may become: how can I stay close to others while also staying close to myself?

Who are you when all your roles fall quiet?

I would love to hear about something you enjoyed before everything became about responsibilities. Perhaps you danced, drew or dreamed of a journey. From there, we can discover which part of you is asking for attention again. I bring questions and intuitive guidance; you begin to recognise the wish that still has a voice, beyond your role as a mother, partner or professional.
